As a

Single Mom Herself

For the past 6 years, Samantha has been the driving force behind the Bean and Chisme brand, taking the social media platforms into the hundreds of thousands of followers.

Samantha promotes living the “Chingona” life to the fullest and normalizes breaking barriers to not just have a seat at the table, but to build the tables ourselves. Her ability to make light of serious topics using humor and down to earth conversations allow all of her guests, collaborators, and viewers to feel they too have a safe space to simply be themselves.

Her dream is to be an award winning Director, Actress, Producer and Writer with a state of the art studio for others to use and create in her hometown of San Antonio. She hopes to produce shows, films, and a series dedicated to entertainment and education that will truly bring joy into this world that desperately needs it. She is also passionate about opening doors for others to have a fulfilling career in media and often gets hired as a public speaker to inspire women, leaders, and people of all ages to go after their dreams.

She’s been an active member for over 20 years, serving on Board of the Westside YMCA in San Antonio for five years and currently serving as Board VP Chair for SJRC Texas. She is also a graduate of the Devos Urban Leadership Initiative as well as Leadership San Antonio Class 45.

When she’s not out at speaking engagements, doing standup, or creating a funny tik tok, she’s having fun with her 10 year old daughter Ava Grace and counts down each day until their next beloved Disney World trip.
